Getting into Character: Roleplay Journaling - English workshop

There’s more to roleplaying than just dungeons and dragons! In this workshop, you’ll develop and engage with original characters and explore a fantasy world rich with symbolism and personal meaning. You’ll use improvisational games and writing prompts adapted from tabletop RPGs to bring new forms of introspection and creativity to your journaling.

The Creative Journaling workshop series is all about inspiration and introspection. If you've ever stared at a blank page feeling stuck, or if you feel like you're just skimming the surface of life instead of exploring its depths, these workshops are for you! Each session is packed with engaging interactive and solo activities designed to help you build a more attentive, intentional, and vibrant connection with yourself and your surroundings. By the end of each workshop, you’ll walk away with techniques you can use as part of a regular journaling practice or as sparks of inspiration for your other creative projects. Come join us to discover new ways to fill your pages!

Participants are welcome to sign up for individual workshops or all three. 

The workshops will be held in English, with opportunities for writing and discussion in English or Romanian.

Facilitator

Anthony Sorge is a writer and Education Studio volunteer with twenty years of experience teaching English language and literature. He believes in the power of writing, reflection, and relationality to help make the world a more peaceful place.
